Preparation and cleaning of gas and wet side of boilers for annual inspections.

Chemical and mechanical descaling using inhibited hydrochloric acid and other non corrosive chemicals.  Re-boring of blocked tubes with the latest flexible drives and cutting tools. Pin descaling with electric and air fed needle guns.

Valves removed, stripped, cleaned, overhauled, tested and refitted to boilers.

Furnaces and tube plate welding using Lloyds Registered Coded Welders.

Tubes cut away from boilers.  Supplied and refitted by expanding tube ends or seam welded.

FURNACE AND REFRACTORY REPAIRS

From stock we are able to carry out repairs to combustion chambers and furnaces, including the rebuilding of burner quarls.

Materials used are of a 35% to 42% alumina firebrick and high temperature air setting cement.

For quarls we cast new segments using high temperature castable concrete and high temperature plastic mouldable for infills.
